The Speak Easy is celebrating 7 years of storytelling. This edition, we are expanding what storytelling looks like. We teamed up with Chef Max Hardy to bring more stories though food over 2 days. The fist day, 9/14 being a private family dinner. The second day, 9/17,  In the historic North End of Detroit at Oakland Avenue Urban Farms 7 different chefs will host cookout style station that represents their personal family heritage. Attendees can expect an afternoon food, drinks, spades tournaments, great music, storytelling and fellowship. The event will raise money for the urban farm + all attendees will have the opportunity to pay it forward.
