**Celebration of Excellence: Honors & Awards Night**

Join us for the 6th Annual Detroit Black Film Festival (DBFF), where we proudly highlight the diverse voices and narratives of Black independent filmmakers from across the nation. DBFF is committed to presenting exceptional films from both established and emerging talents, showcasing a rich array of stories that embody the African American experience and culture.

We warmly invite you to our Closing Night Reception on September 28, 2025, for a special Awards and Honors Ceremony. This event will celebrate the standout films from this year's festival and pay tribute to local filmmakers and artists who have made significant contributions to the Metro Detroit creative community. This year, we are excited to introduce three new awards: the Black Spirits Legacy Award, the Loyalty Award, and the Sincerely Detroit Award.

Doors open at 4 PM, and guests will enjoy a delightful selection of food and cocktails, including Champagne. Tickets are priced at $75.
