With violence on the rise in Chicago’s West Side neighborhoods, the need to strengthen and support inner city communities has never been more urgent. Sponsored by A Ray of Hope Foundation and the City of Chicago, the All-Pro Panel is part of a larger mission to inspire healthy marriages and reinforce the family unit as a key to community resilience. Through transparent dialogue and powerful examples of stability, emotional support, and positive role models, this panel AIMS to counteract the impact of violence and gang culture by uplifting the value of strong relationships, offering a vision of what's possible through healthy families, access to opportunity, and a foundation built on purpose and hope.

The All Pro Panel brings together professional athletes and those closely connected to pro sports for a candid, real-world conversation about love, commitment, and partnership under pressure. From the expectations of marriage and the influence of social media to managing conflict and cultivating meaningful communication, panelists will share their lived experiences and strategies for building lasting, purposeful relationships. Just as success on the field or court demands discipline, trust, and teamwork — thriving relationships require the same playbook. Join us for an empowering dialogue that blends sports, love, and community uplift.

Meet Our Panelists:

Michelle McElroy (Host)

Michelle A. McElroy (MSinEd, LCS) is a trained counselor and marriage coach who provides private coaching for couples, wives, and leaders, particularly professional athletes, corporate executives, and entertainers. She offers conference keynote speaking, on-demand and in-person workshops, and train-the-trainer seminars for large church staffs, businesses, and organizational teams.

As the founder and lead coach of AIM: Activating Intentional Marriages, Inc., Michelle is also the host and executive producer of the “Wife for Life” podcast—a platform created by wives, for wives. She curates and facilitates upscale events such as “Girls Night Out,” the Galentine’s Charcuterie gathering, and the Mahogany Women’s Spring Tea.

Married for over 25 years to former NFL player Ray McElroy, Michelle is also a mother of four. She serves as the Parliamentarian for the National Football Wives Association, where she plays a key role in fostering a spiritually enriching environment, providing essential resources for athlete wives, and ensuring the organization remains a safe, supportive space for growth, development, and transparency.

Ray McElroy

Ray McElroy is a former NFL football player spending six seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions, and the Chicago Bears.  A native of Chicago, Proviso West High School alum, and graduate of Eastern Illinois University, Ray served as Team Chaplain for the Chicago Bears Organization from 2008-2012. He is currently devoting his post football career to empower youth, transform lives, and make a difference one life and community at a time through his non-profit organization, A Ray of Hope on Earth. 

Ally Demorcant

Ally Domercant is the co-host of Karl and Crew Mornings, a Christian morning radio show that can be heard across the country on the Moody Radio network. She is passionate about communicating the gospel of Jesus Christ through powerful storytelling. She is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and DePaul University, where she studied Broadcast Journalism. Ally has been married for almost 19 years to her husband, Henry, and they are the proud parents of two children, ages 15 and 12. 

Henry Demorcant

Henry Domercant is an Assistant Coach for the Chicago Bulls after a 3-year stint as the head coach for the Windy City Bulls in the NBA G League. He played for and graduated from Eastern Illinois University, followed by a 14-year professional playing career with stops in Turkey, Greece, Italy, & Russia.  He is a credentialed minister with the Illinois Assemblies of God. Henry has been married for almost 19 years to his wife Ally and they are the proud parents of two children. 

Amber Staples

Amber Staples is the wife of former NFL Linebacker Justin Staples, and together they reside in Chicago with their son, Justin II.

She is the CEO and Creative Director of Stapled, LLC and Stapled Events, a nationally recognized event production company known for curating purposeful, high-impact experiences. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Amber blends creative vision with strategic execution to deliver exceptional events for global brands.

Since launching Stapled Events in 2018, she has grown the company into a six-figure business with a national footprint, producing events for clients such as Courvoisier, Under Armour, and WVON Radio.

Amber serves as the President and Founding Board Member of the National Football Wives Association (NFWA), where she leads initiatives that support, advocate for, and connect the wives and significant others of NFL players. Under her leadership, the NFWA has developed strategic partnerships with organizations including Swarovski and the NFLPA, elevating the voices and visibility of women in the NFL community.

Passionate about community impact, Amber collaborates with local organizations, planning and executing events that amplify their missions and engage the communities they serve. Her work reflects a deep commitment to service, storytelling, and creating spaces that drive meaningful change.

Amber has been recognized as one of the Black in Events Top 100 Event Curators, and her work has been featured in media across Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York. She leads an all-women team dedicated to delivering experiences that are strategic, seamless, and unforgettable.
