OHBM 42nd Annual Benefit Gala:

Giant Steps to Power

A Salute to Excellence

One Hundred Black Men, Inc. of New York (OHBM) remains dedicated to creating positive change in all NYC communities. Through our four key areas, education, mentoring, economic empowerment and health and wellness, supporting the education of young men and women who have been identified as potential leaders is at the heart of our work.

The OHBM commitment to education, and has directly and indirectly impacted the lives of thousands of young people. Our scholarship program is focused on supporting our talented young scholars and providing individual scholarships to at least twenty worthy candidates, annually.

In each of the last two years, OHBM has awarded $100,000 in college scholarships and over $1million since the scholarship program began. Our next step is to provide every scholarship recipient with a paid corporate internship to build their resume and give them valuable experience to take into the world of work. With your ongoing support, we will provide scholarships and internships as we continue to create a new generation of leaders.

 

For four decades, the Gala raised vital unrestricted funding for numerous OHBM programs, including college scholarships, economic empowerment, mentoring, and health and wellness initiatives.

Our 42nd Annual Benefit gala is set for March 31, 2022, at the stunning Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center and will feature
