Summary
A three-part virtual workshop series empowering entrepreneurs with financial strategies for funding, managing, and scaling their businesses.
This workshop helps entrepreneurs understand and manage their financial operations. Topics include P&L analysis, cash flow management, cost center identification, and strategies to enhance profitability.
- Participants will learn how to analyze their P&L to calculate key margins, identify key cost centers, and develop targeted actions plans to boost overall profitability
- Learn how to map their receivables to payables cycle along with negotiating payment terms with vendors and customers
- Understand how to trace your dollar's origin through mapping out the full revenue cycle
- Learning the dollar flows through COGS, payroll, rent, and overhead
- Learn how to accelerate collections, negotiate float with suppliers, and reroute trapped capital back into the business
Meet Our Speaker
Mark Steward, a graduate of Morehouse College for his B.A. and Cornell for his M.B.A., is a seasoned finance professional with 15 years of corporate experience working for brands such as JPMorgan, Mars, Nike and Disney just to name a few, along with building the Financial Planning & Analysis function for a couple of tech startups within Software as a Service + Healthcare. He started his own consulting company, The Legacy Optimizer, a few years back focused on helping small-medium sized businesses build, manage and scale their financial operations to reach their ultimate legacy aspirations. He is passionate about helping diverse business owners create a better future through clarity of their financials. He serves his clients through Consulting│Coaching│Fractional CFO services│Finance Programming.
Personally, he is from Dallas and has the pleasure of living all around the U.S. from NYC/Chicago/Houston/Portland/Los Angeles. Mr. Steward enjoys traveling and learning/growing from other cultures, having been to 40 countries and counting. He loves spending time with his 5 nieces and 2 nephews along with teaching them early about financial literacy.
