Event Disclaimer

All activities involve certain inherent risks. Regardless of the care taken, it is impossible to guarantee the safety of all participants. While Kido LLC is using care in conducting the event, it is unable to eliminate all risk from the activities. By participating in any events planned and controlled by Kido LLC, you agree to the following:

1. Kido LLC events are provided with no special warranty either express or implied. The Organizers, including but not limited to the Owner, Employees, and Sponsors of Kido LLC events assume no liability for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to property or persons, including death, whether arising in contract, negligence, equity, or otherwise.
2. You assume all risks when participating in Kido LLC events. All participants must use care and good judgment and must obey all rules and regulations of Kido LLC and The Rink. You will comply with all requests made by employees of Kido LLC and The Rink. You must obey all laws of the State of Illinois. Kido LLC reserves the right to eject any participant who does not comply with the terms of this section. Ejected participants will not be entitled to a refund or any further recourse.
3. You hereby waive and release Kido LLC, its officers, agents and employees, from and against any claims, suits, losses, or related causes of action for damages, including attorney’s fees and court costs, that may result from injury or death, accidental or otherwise, during, or arising from my child’s participation in this event and any resulting illness and/or injury, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kido LLC from and against any and all such claims. 
4. You recognize that the recreational events being entered into by your child can be dangerous to your child and you accept those dangers. You understand that if your child is injured, this waiver will be used against you and anyone else claiming damage in any legal action because of your child’s injury.
5. You further understand and agree that The Rink supplies the Skates “as is”, and that The Rink disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. 
6. Knowing the risks described above, you agree, personally and on behalf of the minor child, to assume all the risks and responsibilities surrounding the minor child’s use of the Rink and the Skates. To the fullest extent allowed by law, you hold harmless and agree to indemnify Kido LLC, its officers, volunteers, employees and agents, from and against any present or future claim, cause of action, loss or liability for injury to person or property, which said minor child may suffer or for which said minor child may be liable to any other person, related to said minor child’s participation in recreational activities at the Rink and use of the Skates, resulting from any cause whatsoever, and regardless of fault.
7. You give Kido LLC authorization to use and post any photographs, videotapes, recordings or any other record of our events, before during or after the event for promotional use, reporting to the media and to publish on our website or blog. You will not be entitled to any compensation for Kido LLC’s use of your name or image.
8. Kido LLC reserves the right to exclude anyone from becoming an Kido LLC participant should they choose not to accept this Agreement.
